High-End Stores Share Discount Retailers' Woes

In a word, they're down. Target, Home Depot, and Staples are showing lower profits. Also high-end retailers are having trouble. Sachs says many of its customers are also cutting back. Weak reports from retailers are one of the factors that sent stocks lower this week. Quarterly reports from other retailers are expected today.
