Yale Senior Enjoys Uncensored Day in N. Korea
Despite North Korea's serious travel restrictions, a senior at Yale University was able to get a brief, unsupervised look inside the country. Jerry Guo says North Korea is not "all gulag and famine" — and says he saw glimmers of grassroots capitalism.
Guo's essay, "My Excellent North Korean Adventure," was published Sunday in The Washington Post.
