With his breezy pop sound and understated voice, New Jersey-born Matt White has had his songs featured on popular TV shows such as Laguna Beach and Men in Trees. The title song to his full-length debut, last year's Best Days, was featured on the soundtrack to Shrek the Third.

White attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison before moving to New York City in 2002, when he began honing his craft by performing his music for passersby on busy street corners and in parks. The songs he wrote there became Bleecker Street Stories, his 2006 debut EP.
