New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo announced a settlement Wednesday with Sallie Mae, in which the lender will pay $2 million to settle an investigation into financial arrangements between the company and the colleges and universities it services. Sallie Mae denied breaking any law. The money will go into a fund to help college-bound students.
