Throughout Election Day, many field offices and news organizations heard reports of long lines, malfunctioning machines and misleading robocalls.

Farai Chideya revisits some of the problems voters faced at the polls yesterday with Sherrilyn Ifill, a civil rights lawyer and law professor at the University of Maryland Law School.
