The Detroit Lions are now alone on their quest to become the worst team in NFL history. Currently, that honor is held by the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers who went winless, ending up with a record of 0-14. Some Detroit fans are wearing bags on their heads, some are simply staying home. But everyone has some kind of philosophical parallel to draw between the team's race to the bottom and Detroit's current economic state.
