FEC Filings Trip Edwards; He's Not Alone
This week, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards and his hair have had a lot of attention. In the latest Federal Election Commission filings, it was reported that the campaign paid $800 for two of his haircuts.
The Edwards camp has said that he will reimburse the campaign with $800 of his personal money. This is embarrassing for Edwards, who is trying to project the image of a populist. And it's not the only quirky detail in the FEC filings from Edwards and other candidates.
