Cockburn revisits "Shipwrecked at the Stable Door," a song he performed on Mountain Stage during his first appearance on the show in 1990. The song was originally recorded for his 1988 album Big Circumstance, as was "Tibetan Side of Town." He also performs "Mighty Trucks of Midnight," from his 1991 effort, Nothing But a Burning Light, before closing his set with "Mystery," from his latest album, Life Short. Call Now.

Originally from Queens in New York City, Mountain Stage pianist Bob Thompson returns to his home state and performs a solo piano arrangement of Cannonball Adderley's "Things Are Getting Better."

This segment originally ran Nov. 26, 2008.
