Kwanzaa Celebration Captured In 'Black Candle'

Kwanzaa is a December celebration that honors the roots and traditions of the African-American experience.

Unity, self-determination, creativity, purpose, cooperative economics, collective responsibility, and faith are the seven guiding principles of the holiday.

Farai Chideya talks with M.K. Asante Jr. about the film he wrote, directed and produced, The Black Candle: A Kwanzaa Celebration.
