The Massachusetts band Winterpills plays emotive, harmony-drenched folk-pop music that brings to mind the likes of Simon & Garfunkel and Neil Young. A perfect companion for post-New Year's reflection, the group performs live in concert from WXPN and World Café Live in Philadelphia. Click the link above to hear the show.

Winterpills' new third album, Central Chambers, was originally intended as an EP, but expanded into a full-length record as the creative process carried on. The disc retains the band's familiar male/female harmonies, while exploring new sounds through unusual instrumentation and unconventional recording techniques.
