Amtrak Buoyed By Obama's Choice To Ride
When President-elect Barack Obama announced he would travel to Washington, D.C. for the inauguration by train, no one was happier than Amtrak advocates. They've been howling for years that the country should invest more in its beleaguered rail system, a cry presidents of both parties have largely ignored.
