Retired drug czar General Barry McCaffrey says Mexico is on the edge of an abyss and could become a narco-state in the coming decade. Two military assessments agree with him, warning that Mexico faces the possibility of "sudden and rapid collapse" and recommend that the incoming administration do more to support Mexico's government.
