RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne. This Christmas, Louie Saunders got hundreds of wrapped up gifts, but they weren't exactly new. Friends from his improv troupe wrapped every single item in his apartment - his clothes, the bathmat, a beer in his fridge. The elaborate prank required 35 rolls of wrapping paper and 16 comedians turned wrappers. Most of his Chicago apartment is still under wraps, though Saunders says everything he unwraps turns out to be just what he wanted.

It's MORNING EDITION.
