LYNN NEARY, host:
Good morning. I'm Lynn Neary.
In the Netherlands, they've introduced a kinder, gentler driving test for people who have test anxiety. The pace is slower. Drivers can take a break if they need it. But if someone is afraid of a driving test, won't they be terrified the first time they get on a highway? Taking a time out on the Autobahn is not exactly a good idea. Not to worry, say Dutch officials. The roads will still be safe. Test anxiety is not linked to poor performance in real life.
It's MORNING EDITION.
