And next, Muses and Metaphor.

We've been hearing your poetic tweets on this program as part of our celebration of National Poetry Month. We've been asking you to send us poems that are no more than 140 characters through Twitter.

Today, a tweet from Hunter Joso(ph). He's a 23-year-old from Trinidad and Tobago. He now lives in Vienna, Virginia. He says he likes to write poems inside of fortune cookies and feed them to the illiterate.

Now remember these are short, only 140 characters each so let's listen closely.

Mr. HUNTER JOSO: Journalists tell it the way it was. Poets tell it the way it felt.

MARTIN: As we said, these are short so let's play it again.

Mr. JOSO: Journalists tell it the way it was. Poets tell it the way it felt.

MARTIN: That's a poetic tweet by Hunter Joso.

If you'd like to help us celebrate National Poetry Month, go to Twitter and tweet us your original poetry using fewer than 140 characters, of course. If your poem is chosen, we will help you record it for us and we will air it later this month. Tweet us using the hashtag, TMMPoetry.

And you can learn more at the TELL ME MORE website. Just go to npr.org, click on the Programs tab and find TELL ME MORE.

MARTIN: And that's our program for today. I'm Michel Martin and you've been listening to TELL ME MORE from NPR News. Let's talk more tomorrow.
