RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
Now for the numbers. The annual PNC Christmas Price Index is out with the cost of those 12 days of Christmas. Soaring gold prices have pushed the five golden rings up 21 percent. Eight maids-a-milking will be more expensive thanks to the rise in the minimum wage - their first pay hike in a decade, by the way. Turtle doves and swans-a-swimming held steady. The total price tag for the 12 days: $78,000.
