Election 2008

And now, a correction. Yesterday on ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, NPR reported that New Mexico governor Bill Richardson had endorsed Hillary Clinton for president, and that was incorrect.

Governor Richardson has not endorsed a candidate. He did watch the Super Bowl with President Clinton. But on CNN this morning when he was asked about an endorsement he said, I'm not ready yet. I have extremely high regard for both candidates. And he acknowledged that lately, he has been talking on the phone quite a bit with both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama.
