How can I save a transcript that I've purchased?

You can print or save a transcript for personal use. Copying or storing transcripts for anything other than personal, non-commercial use requires written permission from NPR.

Saving the transcript on your computer:

1. With the transcript you want to save displayed in your browser, choose Save As or Save As File from the File menu of your Web browser.

2. Find the folder you want to save the page in and double click it.

3. In the File Name box, type a name for the page and then click Save.

4. To view this page later, open your Web browser, click on the File menu, and choose Open.

For best results, use only one or two specific keywords from the story. Please avoid using the full story title in your search.
