Why can't I get transcripts for all NPR programs?

Because creating transcripts from broadcast programming is a labor-intensive and expensive process, NPR only provides transcripts for those programs for which there is the greatest demand. In addition, copyright restrictions prevent us from transcribing or making audio copies of certain NPR performance and cultural programs, such as Performance Today and Jazz Profiles.

For best results, use only one or two specific keywords from the story. Please avoid using the full story title in your search.
