NPR's Peter Kenyon reports the Senate voted unanimously today to urge the creation of a United Nations tribunal to try Iraqi president Saddam Hussein as an international war criminal. The 93-0 vote on the non-binding resolution was a symbolic gesture of political frustration in dealing with the Iraqi president. President Clinton's spokesman, Mike McCurry said it was an "interesting idea and we will look at that resolution."
