World War Two Rescue Veteran US Navy pilot Adrian Marks is being memorialized today, he died earlier this month at the age of 81. Marks is remembered for his daring rescue of 56 sailors from the torpedoed warship USS Indianapolis back in July of 1945. We hear an excerpt from a recording made by Marks recounting the events of that day, when he landed his tiny seaplane on the crashing waves in order to save the men.
