Michael Feinstein Liane is joined by singer, songwriter and pianist Michael Feinstein, who is one of the foremost interpreters of classic American popular music. At the age of 20, Feinstein became lengendary lyricist Ira Gershwin's personal assistant, overseeing the vast Gershwin memorabelia. He got national attention in the 1980's and has since performed in nightclubs, on Broadway and recorded 18 albums. His latest is called "Big City Rhythms" a collaboration with the Maynard Ferguson Big Band. Feinstein has also opened his own nightclub in New York called Feinstein's at the Regency.
