Elian Gonzales The US Immigration and Naturalization Service has decided, after a long diplomatic tug-of-war with Cuba, to return six-year-old Elian Gonzales to his father. The boy was found floating on an inner tube off the coast of Florida in November, the survivor of a boating accident which claimed the lives of his mother and stepfather. They were trying to make it to Florida to seek asylum. But the Cuban government and Elian's father demanded the boy's return. NPR's Tom Gjelten reports.
