Rem Koolhaas Edward Lifson reports on Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas, winner of this year's Pritzker Architecture Prize. Koolhaas' innovative designs include a boxy open structure house for a wheel-chair bound man. The house has a ten by eleven foot room which moves like an elevator between the lower living area and the upper private quarters. Koolhaas is also designing a new central public library in Seattle, and an extension for the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
