Police Raid of Russian Media
Police Raid of Russian Media
Audio will be available later today.
Owen Fay reports from Moscow that Russian politicians and commentators are protesting a police raid yesterday on offices of the country's biggest independent media conglomerate. Heavily armed police in fatigues and ski masks barged into the offices of the Media-MOST group and its television network NTV. Media-MOST owner Vladimir Gusinsky and many liberal politicians see the raid as a disturbing act of intimidation just days after the inauguration of President Vladimir Putin.
