Palestinian Lobbyist NPR's Ted Clark reports Yasser Arafat has hired a lobbyist to represent the Palestinians in Washington DC. Edward Abington is former U-S Consul General in Jerusalem. He developed close relations with Arafat during his time in Jerusalem, and resigned from the State Department last fall.
