Halifax Scents
Audio will be available later today.
Noah speaks with Steve Streatch, a city councilor with the Halifax Regional Municipality. Streatch talks about the ban of perfumes, and scented personal toiletry items in municipal buildings and vehicles. The ban has been in effect since 1996, but it has become an issue now since a high school student was investigated by the Canadian Royal Mounted Police for wearing strongly scented hair gel and aftershave, and because the municipality is considering a ban on pesticides.
