Tonya Ott reports from Orlando that firefighters continue to battle scores of wildfires that are plaguing Central and Northern Florida. State officials recently allocated 38 million dollars for firefighting efforts. They fear the 3-year drought could make this year ever worse than 1998, when half a million acres burned. Smoke from the fires caused a traffic accident that killed one person today. While the theme parks in Orlando remain open, officials fear publicity about the fires could hurt local business.
