The War in Afghanistan NPR's Tom Gjelten reports that U.S. warplanes have completed destruction of buildings and caves in a major al Qaeda guerrilla base in eastern Afghanistan. They're now looking for new targets. Speaking 100 days after the war began, a Pentagon spokesman said recent U.S. attacks on the cave complex of Zawar Kili had destroyed all remaining structures in the area and sealed all caves found.
