DNA Exonerations
One hundred people have now been freed from U.S. prisons as a result of DNA evidence. Larry Mayes spent 21 years in an Indiana jail for a rape that DNA tests now indicate he didn't commit. He was released last month as a result of that evidence. Melissa Block talks with Michael Smith, associate professor of law at the University of Wisconsin and former member of the National Commission on the Future of DNA Evidence for the Department of Justice.
