Andersen's Duncan Taking the Fifth
NPR's Emily Harris reports a key witness in the congressional hearings into the collapse of Enron is refusing to testify. David Duncan was Andersen's lead partner on auditing work for Enron until he was fired last week for destroying documents. A House subcommittee subpoenaed him to speak at a hearing tomorrow morning, but Duncan's lawyers say he's not ready and will protect himself by taking the Fifth Amendment.
