Illegal Immigrants & X-Rays

NPR's Debbie Elliott reports that advocates for child refugees are questioning the INS policy of using dental and wrist x-rays to help determine the age of illegal immigrants. They say the x-rays are an unreliable determinant of age, and sometimes result in teen detainees being placed in adult jails — where they are denied education and other services, and sometimes abused.
