Captured American Returns from Afghanistan NPR's Richard Gonzales reports that John Walker Lindh is scheduled to appear in federal court today. He is charged with conspiring to kill fellow Americans while fighting alongside the Taliban in Afghanistan. Lindh was captured in Afghanistan last fall after an uprising by Taliban and al Qaeda prisoners.
