Train Crash NPR's Phillip Davis reports the engineer of the Amtrak Auto Train that crashed in Florida tried to stop the train when he saw that the tracks were misaligned. Four were killed and more than 150 were injured in the accident. National Transportation Safety Board officials are picking through the wreckage, in a heavily wooded section of North Florida, trying to determine the cause of the derailment. The tracks had been inspected about eight hours before the accident and were found to be in good condition.
