Sept. 11 Intelligence Failure
A Congressional investigation into the intelligence failures leading up to the Sept. 11 attacks has run into a snag. The chief investigator, L. Britt Snider, has been asked to resign amid charges of mishandling classified information. But a key senator has also questioned whether Snider, former Inspector General of the Central Intelligence Agency, can conduct a fully independent investigation.
