UPDATE: Two people have been arrested in the Washington area sniper case. A 41-year-old man, John Muhammad, and a 17-year-old, John Lee Malvo, are being held in Maryland. They were picked up overnight as they slept in a car at a highway rest stop. Law enforcement sources say they have recovered a rifle from the car and are testing it to see if it fired the ammunition recovered from the sniper sites.
