Iraq Resolution Debated at Security Council NPR's Michele Kelemen reports that a draft resolution on Iraq is the topic of discussion at today's United Nations Security Council meeting. Initially, the United States dealt only with permanent council members. Russia and France did not agree with the resolution, saying the language was too harsh and would ignite a United States war in Iraq.
