U.S. Raids Seek to Control Iraq-Syrian Border
An ongoing U.S. military operation targets potential combatants along Iraq's border with Syria. Since last Thursday, U.S. troops have sealed off three towns, seized arms and arrested dozens of suspected insurgents. NPR's Ivan Watson reports.
