Health Campaign Targets AIDS, Tuberculosis
NPR's Bob Edwards talks with Sandra Thurman about a new plan to fight HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis simultaneously. Campaigns against the diseases typically vie for attention and resources. But as Thurman explains, that setup does nothing for the health of those suffering from either disease. Thurman is president of the International AIDS trust.
