Paper Seeks to Get the Wright Story Right
One hundred years ago The Virginian Pilot newspaper had the scoop of the century: man had achieved powered flight. But while the paper was the first to report the Wright Brothers' accomplishment at nearby Kitty Hawk, N.C., the story was riddled with errors.
