Audio will be available later today.
This week marks the 10-year anniversary of the start of the genocide that swept Rwanda, killing an estimated 800,000 people in a 100-day orgy of inter-tribal slaughter. NPR's Tavis Smiley talks with Mike Montgomery, co-producer of the radio documentary The Few Who Stayed: Defying Genocide in Rwanda, and Carl Wilkins, an Oregon pastor who saved hundreds of Rwandans and is the subject of the documentary.
