Architect Zaha Hadid Hadid is the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Prize, architecture's coveted award. Hadid lives in London, but was born in Iraq. Her buildings include a fire station in Germany, a housing project in Berlin, a tram station and car park in Strasbourg, a ski jump in Austria, and the Richard and Lois Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art in Cincinnati, Ohio.
