This week, oil giant Unocal tentatively settled a lawsuit over allegations of human rights abuse in Myanmar. Human rights activists hail the news as a boost to their effort to hold multinational corporations responsible in U.S. courts for abuses overseas. We discuss the implications of the Unocal case.
