Police Arrest Nine in London Terror Case
British police arrest another nine suspects in the London bombing investigation, for a total of 20. The chief of the Metropolitan Police said his force was racing against time to find the remaining three suspected bombers before they strike again.
Yasin Hassan Omar, a primary suspect in the July 21 botched attack, is undergoing his second day of interrogation at the high-security Paddington Green police station, London's main detention facility for suspected terrorists. Experts say that like other Muslim detainees, Omar will be getting Halal food, and a prayer mat, and he's likely to have seen a lawyer.
Police were out in force Thursday, the three-week anniversary of the initial round of bombings that killed more than 50 people at three sites in the London subway system and on a double-decker bus.
