A Widening Stain at NPR Turns out National Desk Editor David Sweeney isn't the only staffer who's been sabotaged by those cheapo pens. This note from Pentagon correspondent John Hendren: "I've had this same problem with these NPR pens. Is there another brand we can use? It happened to me on a plane, so I arrived to an interview with black hands." Perhaps the NPR board needs to hear about this. With all of that Kroc money, can't the network afford decent pens? Recommendations?
