Baptism and Church

Commentator Lauretta Hannon tells the story of the time when she was a girl and her older sister took her to church. Baptism is a religious ritual that the faithful can go through at different times in their lives. Roman Catholics parents have their babies baptized soon after they are born.

In some Protestant churches, young teenagers are expected to declare their faith, signaling that it's time for them to be baptized. And adults are baptized, as well.
