In Germany, prosecutors have indicated they may soon file charges against CIA officers and contractors in connection with the Khaled el-Masri case.

In Italy, 26 arrest warrants have already been issued in connection with the Abu Omar rendition. And investigations are ongoing in Spain, Switzerland, Brussels, and elsewhere in Europe.
