Partial returns from last Friday's elections in Iran indicate a setback for conservative President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.

The President's supporters have apparently failed to gain control of either the Tehran city council or the powerful Assembly of Experts, a group of clerics who appoint the country's Supreme Leader.
