President Bush is in Guatemala Monday, a stop on his five-country tour of Latin America. The tour is meant to strengthen ties in the region and, as Bush says, show he cares.

But fiery Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez has been following Bush every step of the way, with mockery and insults. In a recent speech, he told a crowd of supporters that Bush's free-market policies have brought despair and poverty, and entreated Bush to leave the region.
