And they're off! First out of the gate is Britney Spare-ribs, followed closely by Christina Hoguilera.

It's summer, and that means the Ham Bone Express pig races are firing up county fairs around the country. Run by Arkansas-based couple Cody and Gabrielle Boger, the franchise claims to have "the swiftest swine off the line."

Each show features four pigs in four races. A "swinemaster" assigns cheering sections for each pig, then he introduces the celebrity contestants before they explode out of the gates. Their prize? A delicious Oreo cookie.

The Ham Bone Express is at the Montgomery County Fair in Gaithersburg, Md. through Aug. 18.
